You may be wondering about the money by now. Most franchise offers need a large up front payment often in excess of £30,000. And then you need to be able to live for a few months until your franchise starts generating business, so your initial outlay may be in excess of £40,000 by the time you add in all the other costs of starting up.

 

Our offer is designed to help you get off the ground and then pay for your franchise only as you start generating sales.

 

The offer is simple:- All we ask is an initial fee of £4,995.00 +VAT and then 8% of your sales for the first two years. And don’t forget that your initial fee includes all your stationery, business cards, telesales, web presence, etc. The franchise is exclusive to you for a maximum of 25,000 businesses in your chosen area.

 

Extra areas can be purchased in packages of 5,000 businesses at £1,000.

The story of our franchise offer.....

It seemed such a simple idea. Why not franchise our business? It’s been around for years, it works well and nobody else was offering anything like it. We decided to go for it and reckoned we’d have it all sorted “in a couple of months”.

…14 months later… we launched the New Mindset franchise offer and we signed up our first deal within two months of starting. So what happened to our original plan? Well, we discovered that putting together a franchise offer isn’t a simple thing. Just deciding exactly what we were offering took weeks, and then we had to work our way through the complexities of putting together all the paperwork. We spent months researching other franchise offers, we argued over the details of our own proposal, agonised over the fees we would charge, worried about how we would support our franchisees and eventually had the basics sorted.

Each time we thought we had it all nailed down, somebody would ask “what about…?” and off we would go again. Eventually all the questions were answered, the details tied down and the final offer could be launched. Even then, we found more things to think about – and we’re experienced business consultants!

Finally, after visiting franchise fairs and investigating all the options for promoting ourselves, we pressed the button. And Bingo! We started to get enquiries. 90% of which were from unsuitable dreamers…. but we did sign up our first Franchisee and have many more enquiries to deal with.
